This has been a really busy week! Jeremy got home from his trip to Montana on Sunday and we haven't even had an evening at home together yet this week! I think tomorrow we might actually both be home.
This Saturday is out AFLBS 10 year reunion. I can't believe it has been 10 years since we graduated! I'm starting to feel old. Anyway, we are in the midst of planning and organizing this week. We are having a picnic at Lake Ann Park in Chanhassen and then we are all driving to the school to take a tour of the new facilities. After the tour we hope to be able to organize some games like volleyball, croquet, bocce ball, etc.
Sunday we leave for the annual Nelson/Brage "Lake Week." We will be staying at Mariport which looks like a beautiful facility! I can't wait to have a whole week off! I am going to be lazy the whole week and not.do.a.thing. :)
I don't know if I will be able to post before we leave for vacation so if I don't, I hope everyone has a great week!

Restaurant Reviews
I went out with Karin and Melissa last night. We decided to go to McCoy's Public House in St. Louis Park. It turned out to pretty good! We went right after work, so we got in on the happy hour specials. I got magharita pizza and Karin got huge handmade pretzels as appetizers. Both were only $3.99, so we decided to try them out. It turned out that my pizza was a full-sized pizza and her pretzels were huge as well. We could have probably had them for our whole meal!
We did decide to order full-sized meals. I got the smoked salmon club with sweet potato fries, Melissa got the applewood smoked chicken and Karin got the pot roast. We were all very pleased with our selections.
The is the second time that the three of us have gone out to eat (the first was Red Lobster...hilarious!). We brought up the idea of making this a regular occurrence. We would like to check out restaurants that we have never been to and then rate the food. We talked about starting a separate blog and rating the restaurants, but we thought that would get to be a little too silly. :)
I stole most of these pictures from Karin's Facebook page, so I hope she doesn't get mad at me! I think that when you post them to FB the size is reduced, so that's why they are so tiny. The one picture of my plate was taken with my new phone. I don't know how the quality is going to be, but I didn't have any other camera!
I hope everyone is having a great weekend. Leave me a comment on your plans for the weekend!

Sunday Outside
Sunday I got the notion to do some weeding. It ended up that I was outside for 4 hours! I got a lot done and the yard looks really nice! Jeremy is going to be so proud of me!
When I was finishing up I was weeding around a lavender plant that is growing by our front door. I decided to pick some of it and put it in a glass so that it would smell good in the house for awhile (I have no idea if this is what you do with lavender or not??? I didn't feel like drying it at the moment) I thought that the glass looked good sitting by the chair on my front porch, so I took some pictures of it.
When I had my camera in my hand I heard some buzzing behind me. I saw that there was a bee on the lavender!
I think I need a better lens. This was a little too close for comfort! I was seriously really close to this bee!

Minneapolis Farmer's Market
Yesterday my mom, sister and I went to the Minneapolis Farmer's Market. I am always amazed at how huge it is! There are so many fun colors, smells and interesting people at the market. Below are a couple of the photos that I took while I was there.
Esther, always looking for a deal, found this whole thing of potatoes for $3.00! She also got some fresh dill and she is going to make roasted potatoes with dill.
We found some really good deals on fruits and vegetables! We all got a lot of strawberries and we are going to make jam. Mom and Esther also got a lot of blueberries.
I always love the varieties of flowers that they have for sale. This time of year they also have a lot of potted plants and flowers that are ready to be planted in your yard. A lot of people had plants really cheap because it is their last day to sell them for the season.

Long Weekend Update
This is going to be another photo-less post. I haven't downloaded my photos yet and I don't really want to get the camera out right now...
Thursday night we went to the Bloomington fireworks with my family and the Rachacs. There were a lot of festivities, food and a couple of different stages with music before the fireworks began. It was fun to just sit and visit with everyone. We were wondering how Noah would do because he has never seen fireworks. At first he hid under a blanket, then he started to enjoy them and then when it was the grand finale he hid again. I think he enjoyed them, but he hasn't talked about them since.
Friday we went to Andrea and Eric's house in Amery, WI. We drove up to Karin and Trevor's house to ride with them and on the way we stopped at Sonic. For those of you who live in Minnesota, you know how much of a big deal this is. Sonic JUST came to the Twin Cities. There have been lines over 3 hours long! Luckily we got right in the drive thru and it only took about 20 minutes to get our food. The food was good, but I don't think it would have been worth waiting 3 hours.
We had a great time at Andrea and Eric's! We played games, ate and played with the kids. It was fun to see them because we don't get to see them as much as we would like with them living in Amery. Macy who is 2 also enjoyed the fireworks. At first she hid her head under the blanket while she was sitting on my lap. She kept on saying, "They are so pretty, Becca!" I kept telling her that she couldn't see how pretty they were if her head was under the blanket! After awhile she peeked out and then she realized that she loved them.
We drove home after the fireworks and didn't get home until 2:15 am! That is really late for old people like us. We slept until almost noon and it has really thrown us off for the last couple of days.
The rest of the weekend has been spent doing what we normally do...church, hanging out with my family, scrapping, etc. We both had today off from work. I have been home the whole day getting some stuff done and Jeremy did some errands.
That's my recap of the weekend. It was the perfect mix of relaxing and having fun. Tomorrow we are back to work. It will be nice only having to work 4 days this week. Hope you all have a great week!
