Winter
I have been working on the scrapbook of all of the pictures from my Grandma Norgaard. I am having a really hard time with these photos. I don't know if it is because I don't know what to journal or what. None of the photos are especially good and they are all in those 70s and 80s colors where the photos just don't pop. I don't remember anything from these pictures, so it is hard to relate to them. I'll be glad when I'm done.
On another note, Paper Trends contacted me last week and they want a shadow box that I made for the boutique! It was a great surprise because I thought all of the calls had already gone out! I just submitted it on a fluke because it didn't sell at the boutique! I'm so excited, it will be in the June/July issue.
Tonight I'm going to work on my ribby cardi. I have the back and half of one side of the front done. I'll post pictures when I'm further along. This is my first sweater, so I'm hoping I will be able to finish it...especially before summer!

Thanks Kirby
Thanks for being the reason I love the Twins.
Thanks for showing a 13 year old what true sportsmanship is.
Thanks for making every game exciting. Even if the Twins were losing, there was still a chance if Kirby was going to be batting.
Thanks for giving me a number to put on the back of my soccer jersey.
Thanks for the smiles.
Thanks for making that catch.
Thanks for hitting that homerun.
As a grown-up I don't understand the stories I heard about you after the Twins. I don't know if you were unfairly accused, or if you just didn't know how to handle your fame. I choose to remember the good things you did and how you positively influenced my life. As a 13 year old you and the Twins provided one of the most exciting things I could have imagined. You provided hours of positive entertainment.
Thanks for the memories.

Home Sick
I submitted these cards to CARDS Magazine. No luck. They didn't like them. Oh well. I will sell them. I especially like this first one. I made 9 of them, so hopefully other people will like them as well. It was simple and it looks so sparkly!
I think tomorrow I will try to make some more. Hopefully I will be feeling better. Being sick stinks!

Babies
Wow, it seems like there are a lot of babies around here.
Noah was baptized today as well. Jeremy and I were sponsors along with Jason's sister Kari. He wore a gown that is 104 years old. Poor guy, we were teasing him for wearing a dress.
Here is my favorite photo of him yet. This is a hat that I knit him.

I've Been a Bad Blogger
I bought a couple of sketches from Carla Sonheim. This one and this one. She is super talented and has a fun one. I need to save up for it.
I visited Noah last night. Just in case anyone was wondering, he is still cute. I have knitted him a couple of hats and some booties and I will post those photos soon. He is the perfect model. I need to start doing some scrapbooking pages about him.
Esther's shower is set for the 18th. I have a great idea for invitations and food, now I just need to come up with decorations. If anyone has any ideas, let me know! They need to be cheap and super cute. I don't care if they are time-consuming. I really need something for the tables.
Must get back to work now. Hopefully I will come up with more things to say soon.

Noah Daniel Gudim
Esther and Jason had their baby this morning at 4:20 a.m. I made a blog for him so that all of the relatives and friends could get all of the stats:
Noah's Blog
I got to hold him. He's so cute. Hopefully he will get to come home soon.

Day Off
I had the day off today. Got some much-needed stuff done
around the house. It was nice to have a quiet day at home. Jeremy has school tonight, so I REALLY have had the whole day to myself.
The only time I left the house today was when I went to Target for about an hour. I found two sweaters on clearance. (Yes, another cardigan.)

Sweaters
Another pet peeve I have is the shrug. These are popular items for knitters. I don't know what the appeal is. Maybe its because they use less yarn and take less time, who knows. I don't like them because they don't look good on adults. Skinny teens look good in them, but not me. There were tons of shrugs on clearance at AE, so apparently I'm not the only one who doesn't like the shrug.
I did walk away with a couple of items. This sweater was only $6.95! The jeans were a good deal too.
I am determined not to make this blog about things that I buy. I have read a couple of blogs where all they talk about is material things. I don't want this to be like that. However, I do like to get a good deal and I will share those deals.
Today was a lazy Saturday. I organized my closet and didn't do much else. We went to Chili's tonight for supper. That's about all I did. Boring, but relaxing.
Peace out.
ETA - I came across this cool site. I LOVE these tags. They have some great sayings. They have a store at ETSY and their jewelry is cool too. Great inspiration.

Christmas Boutique
Welcome
This is the first post of the rest of my life. This blog is going to primarily be posts on recent creations whether they are scrapping, knitting, jewelry...whatever. This is the place to find them!
My goal is to keep this blog updated with the current things I'm doing and maybe add some comentary as well. As most people know I'm a woman of few words, so my posts might be short. I just want to keep my projects organized and maybe this will help me finish some projects that I've started.
I don't know if anyone will be viewing this blog, but in case you are reading this, WELCOME!
